Disabled Access
The Tabernacle is fully accessible for people with disabilities however we do not have a hearing assistance system.
There is level access into the venue and throughout most areas throughout the building.
There are 2 lifts taking you to all levels in the building. The Front lift, located to the right of the Main entrance, offers access into the Theatre Bar / Theatre Balcony level on the 1st Floor going up to the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor. The Back lift* is located just past the ground floor toilets on the left hand side and allows you access to Mangrove Steelband on the Lower Ground Floor, the Main Pit of the Theatre and Dance Studio on the 1st Floor and the Music Room and Offices on the 2nd Floor. *Please be aware that all lifts are currently undergoing essential maintenance and are out of use until further notice.
There are also Disabled Toilets available on both the Ground & First floors of the Tabernacle.
Prices for shows at the Tabernacle are dictated by the promoter of the event. Not all events will offer a concessionary rate for people with disabilities.
If disabled and attending an event at the Tabernacle, it is often possible to arrange early access to the event prior to the main audience – however this is at the promoters discretion.
