A comic drawing workshop in conjunction with Rythm Mastr: The Chronicles, a show by Kerry James Marshall

Rythm Mastr: The Chronicles, is the first exhibition in the UK dedicated exclusively to Kerry James Marshall’s comic series, which he has been working on since the late 90s. Taking inspiration from the exhibition and the world-building of the Rythm Mastr project, this workshop will briefly introduce participants to the process of comic creation– from narrative building to character development.Led by Gonçalo Neto and Mark Dear, you will learn about their own art practices and how they relate to comic books and the wider world of drawing. You will then have an opportunity to create your own comics strips.
