A Literary Performance in London

On June 10, we invite you to a unique evening in London with Dina Rubina — an acclaimed writer and screenwriter whose books have won international awards and, most importantly, the hearts of readers across the globe.

Dina Rubina’s literary performance is true one-woman theatre. No one reads her stories better than she does — her voice brings them to life with remarkable range and nuance. With her mastery of voices, accents, characters, and intonations, one might easily believe she’s a trained stage actress. But in truth, the vibrant gallery of characters she embodies so vividly is simply a gift — a natural talent of Dina Rubina.

“Any serious writer experiences everything their characters go through — hatred, love, confessions, illness, passion, birth, death. It’s a blood bond, I would even say an intimate one,” says Dina Rubina about the heroes of her books.

This evening promises to be a dazzling literary event, filled with Rubina’s inimitable texts, tones, and layered meanings — a mix of sharp wit and piercing insight. In other words, everything we love about her prose.

As a special treat, the audience will hear excerpts from her latest work Designer Zhorka. The second part of the novel, titled The Girls, is about to be released, while the first part, The Boys, was published last year and has already won over readers.

Dina Rubina is a writer and screenwriter, the author of more than 40 books translated into numerous languages, including Cold Spring in Provence, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Syndicate, Behold, the Messiah Comes!, High Water in Venice, Sunday Mass in Toledo, Camera Moves In!, and many others. Her works have received multiple prestigious literary awards and recognitions.
