Making 2030 is a mini-festival to imagine, learn skills, and build our future worlds - from local to global
It will take place from 15- 18 April at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill. It's drop-in, free, and open to all ages.
Drop in for an hour or stay all day, from Wednesday to Saturday from 11am-5pm. On Saturday night there will be a party until 11pm.
For four days, we'll be taking over the art gallery at The Tabernacle with local groups, artists and organisers, with a focus on projects part of the Future Neighbourhoods programme led by RBKC. With local groups, artists and organisers, we'll be hanging out, exchanging ideas, making art, sharing our projects and running a mix of informal and practical activities.
What to expect:
Facilitated discussions on digital skills, community energy, creative economies & more
Tea & treats and living room conversations
Creative hangouts and artmaking
Workshops on imagining urban futures, repairing your clothes or making art with waste
Reading corner and collective research wall
A party with food and music on Saturday night

This event is a collaboration - organised by the London School of Solarpunk and Repowering London, it is a collaboration with North Kensington Community Energy and other local groups. The festival is supported by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council through the Mayor of London’s Future Neighbourhoods 2030 Fund.
